Drip Pavilion stems from a long-time fascination with the biomorphic forms created by falling water. A cloud-like form hovers over the earth, supported by colorful columns of transparent plastic. Viewers are invited to explore under and around the piece and consider the natural phenomenon that connects the earth and the sky. This work was designed for the PopUp! Inflatable Art Festival at the Pikesville Armory in Maryland. This invitational exhibition was one of the first regional exhibitions focused on large-scale inflatable artworks by Baltimore-area artists.
